Dont tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway – but
your waiter may know………
YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATH

**
**
*This is pretty neat *
**
**
**
**
*DON’T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! *
**
* *
**
*It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read . *
* *
*Be sure you don’t read the bottom until you’ve worked it out! *
* *
*This is not one of those waste of time things, it’s fun. *
* *
**
**
*First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out
to eat. **
(more than once but less than 10)
**
**
**
**
*Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) *
**
**
**
*Add 5*
**
**
**
*Multiply it by 50

**
**
**
*If you have already had your birthday this year add 1758… * * *
* If you haven’t, add 1757. *
* ** *
**
**
*Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. *
**
**
*You should have a three digit number *

**
**
*The first digit of this was your original number. ( i.e. How many times you

Mine was 515… But I’m 16!! Okay, maybe not YET… But still! Haha…
KKY: Fun ah?
Faithful angel : You’re still 15 – your birthday in Dec, that’s why they ask you to use different numbers depending on whether your birthday has passed or not, dear.
fuliau!!! i chose 1 as the number of times a week i want to eat out (save money mah! =p), and i got the number 122… and I am indeed 22 this year. freaky. i want to know how they figured out this algorithm.
Fuliau!!! I chose 0 as the number of times a week I want to eat out (save even more money) and I got a two-digit number. I guess the algorithm only works for the rich.
dormiens: Was the 2-digit no 20? If it was, then it worked, cos it would be zero no of times you eat out. Oh and btw, you should have put 5 as the number of times you eat out – everyday eat out at UTAR ma :p
By the way, that was from me, not Andrea – my children always leave themselves logged on, grrrrrr……….
